How To Wrap A Gift
One of the most fun aspect of Christmas for me is wrapping presents. I believe that regardless of what’s inside the gift box, a beautifully wrapped gift is in itself a present to the eyes. Taking the time to neatly wrap a gift, and beautify it bows, ribbons, and other decorations, is a way of telling the person for whom the gift is intended that we really care about them.
Gift wrapping is not difficult, but for those who find it a clumsy and difficult task, this video by Marissa can be very helpful. As you watch the video, Marissa will take you step by step through the process of simple gift wrapping. If you’re not an experienced gift wrapper, I recommend that you chose wrapping paper that is pliable and forgiving. You’ll find that the more inexpensive gift wrap papers tend to be fragile; they tend to tear, and wrinkle very easily. It’s better to spend a little more money on a paper that will allow you to make mistakes without tearing up on you.
Always try to put your gift in a box as it will make wrapping it a lot easier. You’ll also need a pair of sharp scissors, transparent tape, or one that matches the color of the paper, and a ruler or tape measure can be very handy.
